This is a post, I never wanted to have to make but sometimes life throws curve balls when you least expect it and you have to learn how to adapt to those changes.
I’m forever grateful for the opportunity that creating and building this small business from the ground up has given me. At the time of opening, I was attending Washington State University; I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Hospitality Business Management in 2022. My main goal of this experience was to learn how to own & operate a small business while getting my degree. I can successfully say, that this goal has definitely surpassed what I had hoped & dreamed of. Of course, I would’ve loved to see our doors remain open, but unfortunately that’s not the case at this time.
I would not have been able to begin this journey without the help of my Grandfather, Lawrence Countryman. He refused to do an escape room experience, but he sure made the best hidden treasures for each one of my escape rooms!
I’m beyond thankful for my parents Dave & Cheri, my siblings Dansil & Orion, my auntie Tj and my Boyfriend, Stephen for being my biggest cheerleaders day in and day out.

I have opened all of my appointments from now until the 17th of December. If you don’t see an appointment that works for you, email us we would love to accommodate you all before our last day.
If you’re interested in an escape room experience for a Holiday Party, we are now able to accommodate groups of up to 26 maximum. This would be split between our three escape room experiences; The Alcazar Theatre, The Harvey Airshow Caper and The Blue Bird Hotel.

Our Story
In May 2019 we began the early stages of creating, building and operating an escape room business. One month later, June of 2019 we opened our doors to the public with just one escape room “The Bankers Office”. This escape room has since retired, along with our second escape room “Great Aunt Sue’s Cabin”. We did not know how far we would come, but here we are!
We currently offer three escape room experiences “The Alcazar Theatre” , “The Harvey Airshow Caper” and “The Blue Bird Hotel” in hopes of adding more in the near future! We are a unique escape room as we build and design our escape rooms entirely from the ground up in house.
At the time of opening, I was attending Washington State University as a Sophomore home for the summer. I initially wanted to open this small business to gain knowledge and hands on experience about owning and operating one before I was fully out of school; I just wanted to double check that I truly wanted to be a small business owner when I grew up. Lucky for me, this truly is what I wanted to be when I grew up and I couldn’t be more proud of what I have created here at Escape Old Snohomish.
I graduated from Washington State University in August of 2022 with my Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Business Management.

We are open Thursday through Sunday, by appointment only! Don’t see an appointment time that works for you?! Send us an email, we will figure out an appointment time to accommodate you! Monday through Wednesday appointments may be available upon request, reach out to us today and we will get you scheduled!
PRICING
Card only, split payments available upon requests.
$30 per person, groups of 5 or less people
or
$25 per person, groups of 6 or more people
*Please contact us for groups larger than 6 people, team building/bonding, birthday parties and more! This is to ensure we are able to accommodate your groups needs to the best of our ability and give you the best possible escape room experience around. Our escape rooms comfortably hold 2 through 8 people, but with larger groups we can split into two escape rooms. Thank you!
